When I was younger, I loved taco salad! However, I haven't made it much myself (not sure why...). Thanks for the reminder; I need to focus more on yummy salads as it's getting hot here! :)

Well, Kim, we usually have flour tortillas with most meals, that rounds it out pretty well for us, but, I do think y'all eat more than we do.

I love taco salad and could live on the stuff in the summer, but I have to ask: do these amounts really feed your crew?
We have mostly girls and this sure wouldn't do it for us, but I hear we're hearty eaters for a houseful of girls.

Oh, I remember "spring" in South Texas. I am not missing it at all. Michigan springs are 60's with a few 70's thrown in. I just planted lettuce and spinach in my garden yesterday. The danger of frost is finally over. We do a lot of salads (including taco) in the summer.

I found your blog yesterday when I was looking through the "C of H" links. I have enjoyed reading some of your past posts. That enticing picture of lettuce has got me craving SALAD!
