Congratulations! You have been to to Ship Full O' Pirates over 100 times! Just thought you'd like to know.
I told you before, and I’ll tell you again, the Pirates and The Princess did not fall far from the ship.
Yesterday I told you about my exciting new Igloo Beverage Cooler. (I don’t get out much)
A few minutes ago, while I was busy at the ‘puter, (I should consider getting out more) I heard some uproarious (what? it’s a word) laughter and some hollering coming from the front room, where The Princess and The Squid and Cannonball Jack were playing. I asked The Cap’n to go see what they were doin’. He said, “They’re just playing a game and she hollers every time she doesn’t win.” I asked, “What game are they playing?” His answer? ……. “Roll the duct tape.”
Here are the rules. One person takes the brand new roll of duct tape and rolls it, really fast, down the middle of the dining room table, (ours is very large, as you can imagine) the other players try to be (this is where it gets tricky) the LAST person to stop it before it rolls off the end of the table. I’m not real sure how you judge that. But that’s not the point, the point is, they were having FUN, no toys were involved, vast sums of money were not required to participate fully, and no animals were harmed in the telling of this story.
