I’m sorry I haven’t posted much this week. I finally figured out why I am reluctant to do so. It’s my frustration (which is soon to be resolved) with the technical difficulties I’ve been having.
My computer was a gift. Thanks Stephanie! Therefore, I’ve been somewhat reluctant to relate anything disparaging about it. Besides that, I just don’t like to complain, well, on the blog anyway. But, the thing is, the computer just needs some updating. More ram, which I still don’t understand, despite all the explanations. (please don’t feel obliged to try a new explanation now, thinking about how computers do what they do kinda gives me a headache)
So, the computer needs some work, which is about to become a reality, because, da da-da da! My brand new computer will be delivered tomorrow! Along with the necessary thingies to repair the current computer. Yipee!!!!! WooHoo!!!! Haleluiah!!!
The plan is to take the new computer out of the box and plug it in. THEN unplug the current one and take it to my friends who are waiting, screwdriver-in-hand, to get at this one. Thanks Perry and Jason! What that means to me is, I don’t have to go a day without a working computer! Yaha!
So, starting Saturday, expect to see great things! I really should be able to get some photos on this blog. That’s the very thing that has really gotten me down. I was so excited to get the camera. That kinda went a little flat when the cd drive on the “puter wouldn’t install the software that Canon provided.
After extensive sessions attempting to post more photos without success, I gave up! No apologies, I just don’t have all day to fiddle with somethin’ that isn’t working anyway.
Now I’m trying to be very patient, and not tap my foot, and not check the UPS tracking system more than 17 times a day. Waiting, waiting, waiting…………
