McDonalds: Billions and Billions Insulted

Liberty Counsel is joining the boycott against McDonalds. While referring to Christians and other people with traditional values, a McDonalds spokesman arrogantly stated, “Hatred has no place in our culture,” suggesting that anyone supporting the historical definition of marriage is motivated by hate. The company has insulted everyone who supports traditional marriage. McDonalds might as well change their signs from “billions and billions served,” to read “billions and billions insulted.”

Here is how you can help make a difference:

  • Read our News Release to learn more about the boycott. The boycott is ONLY about getting McDonalds to stay neutral in the culture wars. It is NOT about favoring discrimination or hate.
  • Join the boycott. Tell your local McDonalds manager that you will not eat there because the company is taking sides in the culture war by supporting radical groups that are against marriage between one man and one woman. Tell the corporate office at McDonalds toll-free at 1-800-244-6227 or by email via their online form.
  • Inform as many people as possible about the boycott by forwarding this Liberty Alert to your entire email list of family and friends.

On Wednesday, July 16, at 10:00 a.m., Liberty Counsel will announce support for the boycott at a joint press conference with the American Family Association and other organizations in front of the McDonalds restaurant across from  the corporate headquarters in Oakbrook, IL.

I haven’t noticed a difference around any of “our” McD’s, but then I had no clue this was a thing until yesterday.

We have not purchased from said establishment since this spring. I do find myself craving a quarter pounder with cheese occasionally but Wendy’s or Burger King does in a pinch. I’ve noticed the McD’s closest to us has a decreased number of vehicles in their parking lot and drive through. I McD’s in a busier location doesn’t seem affected though.
