Super Shopping Deal #1

Please look up at the top of the blog, just under the cute painting of Pirates for a tab labeled “For Sale”.  Guess what I have in there?  Have you looked?

The items I have listed are in very limited supply.  Most are just one, some are two or three.  We will be adding items as they come available.  These are items from the clearance store in the Vision Forum warehouse.  Some are very slightly damaged, bumped corners or slightly smudged ends of pages.  I won’t offer an item with significant damage without disclosing the damage.  With most of the items the damage is barely discernible.  Vision Forum takes great care to not ship even very slightly damaged goods, so we can often find some really great deals.

Super Shopping Deal: B

Texas Thrift had an Everything 50% OFF SALE  this  past Saturday only.  But they don’t mean only.  They do this the day after every holiday.  If you want furniture, go early.  I usually go early for a different reason.  They don’t run their A/C very cold and it gets rather warm in the back of the store where they have the clothing.  Since they do this a lot (thereby relieving any lingering guilt feelings I may have because I got to go and maybe you didn’t even know about it), I can still show you pics of the great deals I got! :D

I only found 6 books I couldn’t live without, partly because the old thrift store ain’t as cheap as it used to be. (on books, anyway)

I found 11 t-shirts and a pair of capris for me.

The Princess really cleaned-up.  6 t-shirts, 4 pair short knickers, 1 pair long knickers AND a dress.

There were also a couple pairs of Pirate shorts, 2 pr. slacks and a polo shirt.

The bread machine on the end of the table was a big disappointment.  It would turn on and do the first knead and then nothing.  But the monitor was a great deal, and it works! :D   Regularly $10, so I only paid $5 for a working monitor!  Happy Day!  This will come in very handy once our third computer is repaired.  That was the last component we needed to be able to set it up.  So, someday (hopefully soon) we will have THREE working computers.  I hope that doesn’t sound excessive.  (Even though it REALLY is, but only less than a third as excessive as one child having his own computer. ;) )

And the Gatorade on this end of the table was well earned after a long shopping trip in a very warm thrift store!

Oh, should I tell what I paid?  $48  :D   I really like my thrift store.

Super Shopping Deal of the (near) Future

Coming soon to a blog near you, ahem, well, this blog. :D   I’m gonna add a tab up top labeled “Garage Sale” where I will offer for sale wonderful items of immeasurable value. ;) Items we have gently (or not, they are Pirates ya know) used in our home.  Books, curriculum, miscellaneous.  Look for the tab to appear sometime next week. (I hope).
