The Princess and the Ships

This is The Princess.  She is very busy serving air tea and talking to someone very important on the phone.

Do y’all know about Pirates Constructible Strategy Games?  Calico Zak put this little ship together.  It’s about 3 inches long.  These are the coolest little ships.  It’s a game that you can play alone or with others.  It’s so piratey, and we learn a lot of History and other fun Piratey stuff as they read all of the info that comes in the pack.

This is  CZ’s fleet.  It’s huge.

  1. I think I may have seen these at Target too. I didn’t realize they were ships – I thought they were just cards. I’ll have to check them out again – several of the pirates around here (and a few princesses, too) would have fun with these.

I was thinking about doing a post about the ship game, because it’s so fun and piratey and it’s quite inexpensive. They are available at some WalMarts and most comic book stores for $4 a pack. Unfortunately, they are super susceptible to enemy (3 y/o) attack. :( On the bright side, they are so loved that pieces rarely stray. I like the plastic shoeboxes from the Dollar Tree for these type of things.

Can you share more about this game? I have an 11 yo pirate who would LOVE this…

Does it come with a force field preventing the 3 yo cabin boy from destroying them all? How about a magnetic field so there aren’t pieces found everywhere?
