First, I have to confess that I totally fell off of the “coffee wagon.” The important thing to focus on here is not my flimsy backbone. No! The important thing to focus on is the super-fantabulous deal I got on Folgers (my favorite coffee) at CVS. Yes, we went back today, JUST FOR THE COFFEE!
The absolute bottom line on this deal was it cost me $3.88 for everything you see in the pic. I would have paid that much for just one canister of coffee at HEB.
Our trip to Walgreen’s was a little more confusing to me. (And I found CVS to be really confusing, so this is even fuzzier.)
The part that is hard for me to wrap my brain around is the bottom line on this deal. The absolute bottom line on this one is that we made $1.93 !?!?
I (somewhat) understand the basic principles on these deals. There are just so many little bits of info to learn and memorize that (warning: justification dead ahead) without the coffee my brain would explode.
The fact is, without coupons this doesn’t work as well. So, if you are reading this and you have no intention of using your coupons from your Sunday paper, please send them to me. You can e-mail me at ship full of pirates (at) gmail (dot) com – without all the spaces of course. I’ll be glad to pay the postage if you’ll mail me your circular!

And just in case you were wondering, I am not going to turn this ship into a CVSing blog. I reserve the right to have a brag post 2 or 3 more times, but I’m not gonna be ALL about it, OK?
