Personally, I think that children who leave the house to attend government schools every day would probably react the same way if they were ever around to see the goings on of home life. Sad how much they miss out on.
Even though it’s tough, and sometimes it is very tough, it’s still the right thing.

That is too funny. Thanks for sharing. That’s pretty much the story at our house. We do vacuum everyday, but anything more than that definitely means that company is coming.
I have the opposite problem at my house. My kids are shocked when we’re not cleaning house. I’m not the laid-back type.
Being the obsessive compulsive cleaner that I am, at my house it’s more like “Hey mom, it’s Monday. Why aren’t we doing laundry?” My Chickies know their days of the week by what chores we are doing!
