I have the coolest new gadget on my computer. Or more accurately in my computer. That’s probably not right either. Maybe it’s part of my…??? I can’t pretend to know how it works, but when I access the internet, there it is, The Homeschool Toolbar. Right under my Google toolbar.
I installed it a few weeks ago and I am still learning all the things it has. I’m totally impressed. This is a very handy tool.
I really enjoy surfing the web for homeschool info and The Homeschool Toolbar really makes that quick and easy. Here’s what they say about it on their site.
The Homeschool Toolbar features include:
-
Homeschool Resources
- The Latest homeschool & Parenting News
-
Web search using Google
-
Integrated RSS feeds
-
Homeschool blogs
-
Category browsing
- Search highlighter
-
Other quick shortcuts
-
Weather forecast
-
Organizing tools such as a To do list, notepad, calculator, conversion charts, maps and more
-
Radio connected to “Positive & Encouraging K-LOVE” , NPR or your favorite local radio station (this feature is optional and can be added or removed as can all toolbar features.)
Lastly, it will NOT slow your computer down!
I love it! It’s a really useful and efficient way to get all the homeschool info I need. It’s easy to install and it’s free. Go get yours now!
