Congratulations! You have been to to Ship Full O' Pirates over 100 times! Just thought you'd like to know.
I am a feeder. I love to feed people. So the giving of free rice to hungry people aspect of this game appeals to me. But the games are also very appealing.
I had their button on my blog several months ago, but the only game available at that time was the vocabulary game, which is fun, but we did that to death and were done.
Well, I saw it again the other day and played for a bit, then I realized that they have added some games. Lots of games.
So it’s back in the sidebar. Play to your hearts content.
Oh my, we have had so much fun playing the Spanish word game and the Identify Countries on the Map game. And guess what! The Spanish vocabulary and Geography skills around here are through the roof, all thanks to these games. Well, that AND a strong competitive spirit that runs rampant aboard this ship.
I don’t know if it works that way for every family, but my Pirates and my Princess learn from games. And quickly to boot.
I wonder if part of the success is that I like to play along, and I sit in the “driver’s seat” freeing them up to see all the options without having to think about spelling stuff or clicking on the right part or what ever. But that’s how we play. I sit. They hover. This also allows them to run to the world map in the front hall for quick verification.
That’s what works for me this week.

Wow..I had no idea that they added other games to it! Now thanks to you, I will once again sit addicted, pitting my wits against the computer in order to win free rice for hungry people. That can hardly be called time wasting can it?
I love the rice game, but didn’t realize they added others. Thanks!
Oooh – they have MORE games?? Cool! I will definitely have to go check it out again. It’s been awhile (obviously!) since I’ve been over there.
Thanks!
I think my little chickies are going to LOVE that!
Oh we lov the rice game here, we have been playing for months. I know of a Kibble game along the same lines for dogs too.
thanks for putting this out the more people that know about it the better.
I can’t wait to have my 9 year old do this. She’ll have so much fun.
