It’s The Cap’n's birthday today. Just so everyone is clear, we did not get him an Xbox, a Wii, a nerf gun, legos, a gumball machine, a piñata, or any of the other toys mentioned in this funny video by Tim Hawkins. By the way, the music in the video is distinctly rock&roll, so if you don’t click, I’ll understand.

@Lois Groat: Well, he got to go to work. We will celebrate on Saturday. I’ll probably write a post about it next week. But rest assured, there will be no “normal teenager” gifts. Oh, and if Kim gets the kinks worked out with the camera, there may be a video of his friends (3 teenaged boys he works with) giving The Cap’n his birthday spankin’. I haven’t previewed it yet, due to technical difficulties (Kim can’t find the camers cord) but if it’s suitable, and no one hollers his real name I’ll post it.
What did he get? My teen sons, who never get “normal”, “American teenager” gifts, are curious.
