I don’t even know for sure what all I have in my fridge right now. But I do know I have a garage full of potatoes. Well, not full, but there are boxes of ‘em. And I have some ham and a yummy ham bone.
And, frankly, I am sick and tired of shopping. So, we are gonna eat up every scrap of food in this house before I go back to the grocery store. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s more than 5 or 6 days worth of food here.
We have really enjoyed our tamales, but they are all gone now, along with all of the fudge and the cheesecake and the puppy chow. I think it’s time for some Sweatin’ to the Oldies, what do ya think?
- Monday – Chili and cornbread
- Tuesday – Split Pea and Barley Soup and homemade dinner rolls
- Wednesday – Rice and Beans and cornbread
- Thursday – End of the Line Casserole
- Friday – Pizza
- Saturday – Spaghetti Mac Bake
- Sunday – Chili and rice

I know you are busy and reading fast, Momma bug, but 2 of those meals use ham. And that’s about all I have/had enough ham for. I used the ham bone, and meaty it was, in the Pea Soup. And the End of the Line Casserole has ham.
I do not see anything on that menu involving ham.
