Well, I know I said I wasn’t gonna post any more recipes here, but sometimes I’m stupid. Really, I am still working out the organization of the cookbook in my brain, but it’s taking a while. Meantime I am gonna keep pluggin’ away like always.
Monday – Creamy Beef Ravioli
Tuesday – Fettuccini Alfredo
Wednesday – Meatloaf & Mashed Potatoes
Christmas day – Tamales & Chili
Friday – Ham & Mashed Potatoes
Saturday – Split Pea & Barley Soup w/Ham
Sunday – Smoky Potatoes O’Brian (substituting ham for the sausage)
Fettuccine Alfredo
- 2 pounds fettuccine
- 1 stick butter
- ¼ cup flour
- 2 cups half & half
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONSCook pasta in a large pot. Meanwhile, melt butter or margarine in a saucepan. Stir in flour. Whisk in cream, garlic, and parsley; stir until thickened. Stir in cheese. Drain pasta. Serve sauce over noodles.I like to serve this next to a big heap of steamed broccoli. Simple and yummy!
