Call the cable company and tell ‘em you’re all done throwing your money away.
Now, I don’t abide a lot of tv watching, especially for children, but my real gripes are:
- dealing with an arbitrary schedule
- commercials – ick
But, guess what! Oh joy! There’s another way! And since you are already paying for your internet, it won’t cost you a thing to watch.
It’s called Hulu and it’s so easy to use. You just go to Hulu.com and select TV or Movies and go from there. No registration, no sign up. Just click and watch.
All the Woody Woodpecker and Wallace & Grommit and Pink Panther episodes you want. Works for me!
There are commercials, sorry. But far fewer than you’d encounter on cable or eww, the airwaves.
Quick tip~ Before you settle in to watch a movie or anything of any length, you should adjust the settings for your screen-saver. It’s really annoying to have to shake the mouse every 5 minutes during a movie, know what I mean, Vern?

I was prepared to be all excited about this, but Hubby tried to sign up and it won’t let him, because our IP address shows we aren’t in USA. We have a USA mailing address; that should count! Oh well, enjoy some for me.
Thanks! We are thinking about getting rid of our cable because we don’t watch it very much. It’s expensive!
I love Hulu!!!!! Did you know that you can watch old episodes of Nature and Nova from PBS, in case you want to do a sciency angle. I also recommend Wired Science too. I have been trying to spread the knowledge of hulu around too!
i’ll definitely have to check this out!
