Congratulations! You have been to to Ship Full O' Pirates over 100 times! Just thought you'd like to know.
This week’s giveaway is the CD from Vision Forum titled Victories! Moments, Large and Small, Which Define Christian Parenthood.
You have no idea how hard it is to choose what to give away (which gives me a good idea, hmm…. more on that in a minute). But once I read the write up on this CD from the Vision Forum website I knew I wanted to give one of these CDs away.
Here, see for yourself. From the Vision Forum online catalog :
In this personal message, Doug Phillips outlines ten victories of parenthood — moments of unsurpassing beauty, both large and small, that dads and moms should recognize and rejoice in as they raise their children. Sharing stories from his own family’s journey, Phillips emphasizes that there is a glory that the Lord surrounds parents with each day, if they will only stop to see it. It’s found in moments of everyday life — episodes of hope, humor, and blessing that must be grasped and cherished.
The Rules
- One entry per person.
- OK, two, but for the second one you have to blog about it and link back here.
- Lower 48 mailing addresses only.
- None of this, “enter me!” We like to be a little more sociable about it. Click here and go over to Vision Forum (this is the idea I told you about) have a good window shop. Come back here and tell me, in the comments, what you would like for me to give away for my final Christmas giveaway next week. (Calm down, Carri!) If it’s $10 or less I will consider it. If it’s a $10 CD I will strongly consider it.
- Giveaway ends next Wednesday, the 17th.

Well, I’d actually have to say that I’d like to see the umbrella doll stroller as a giveaway, but that’s because my daughter informed me last night that Santa was going to bring her one, and that has NEVER been on her Christmas list. Santa’s spent all he can, so she isn’t getting that doll stroller…. Of course, that’s all for my own selfish reasons!!
It’s hard to pick just one thing, but I would say How God Used a Snowdrift. We just finished a different book in that series, and it’s just delightful!
I love reading your blog, but I’m more of a lurker.
So, hi!
I would love to see the Yankees vs. Rebels (CD) given away. We have the P vs. I CD and I loved it!!!
I have posted another idea at my blog:

There are so many good resources. One of the ones that I would like to see is “The Joy of Family Worship” cd by RC Sproul.
[...] Full O’ Pirates has yet another giveaway. If you like free stuff, that’s the place to hang [...]
I would love The Centrality of the Home in Evangelism and Discipleship (CD). That was an almost impossible choice! There are so many that I’d like to have but the budget doesn’t allow for it! Thanks for the great giveaway!
It’d have to be a copy of Heidi for me because whenever my Mum braided my hair in two braids she’d call me Heidi – but I still haven’t read the book! Now I am braiding my own daughter’s hair the same way, I really should read it. Of course, I don’t expect you to pay postage to Australia, I am just a compulsive joiner-in-er-er (New word!!)
I am always the picture of calm, cool, and collected. Unless you are talking through communicator watches. Then I get a little worked up.
How ’bout that zip line? Oops. $125
China Tea Set? $89
How ’bout a grappling hook? $28. Won’t work, either.
No cheap thrills with VF.
All right (but no way can I narrow these down to ONLY one…) One of the Classic books (Swiss Family Robinson or something), one of the new Kathleen books. (Didn’t see them before making my order this week… wish I hadn’t run out of money long before it.).
Stay calm. Ha. I am ALWAYS calm. I am the epitome of calm.
Will you Pretty please with a cherry on top enter me to win the CD?
the ballantyne set would be a nice giveaway! but for the $10 cd, either George Washington, America’s Joshua or David and Bathsheba would be awesome!
Okay, I think there are way too many things at Vision Forum! I love all the History items they have like the Anti-Historical Revisionism Home School Kit, or their selection of movies (love the old Roy Rogers one or their Science section looks great), but my youngest would really enjoy the “How God Used a …” books! Filled with stories of adventure. Then there is a wonderful section of books for just $7!!! How cool is that! What a great website. I’ve not visited it before but they have some great resources for homeschool families! Thanks for posting this.
