I couldn’t help but laugh a little at your story, not the blender part, but the other details!
About a year and a half ago I did a lot of reading about the chemicals in the soaps and other beauty products (maybe a little too much reading). I think I got a “little” crazy about it all at once and had to ” settle down a bit”. By a little crazy, I mean I was trying something new every few days. I tried several things on my hair that did not work.(I should add that I have long hair that tends to be a little oily at the roots and dry on the ends) Burt’s bee’s shapmpoo and conditioner-expensive and did not work
goat’s milk bar soap- liked the results, but again expensive
ivory soap and vinegar rinse-worked pretty well, but I don’t think I ever got through the adjustment stage and went back to my free chemicals from CVS;)
Things I did find that work. Ivory bar soap for body wash, powder instead antprespirant except for summer, coconut oil for skin moisturizer, and burt’s bees baby wash (expensive but it only takes a few drops) Thank you for sharing your adventure! Stick with it!

Happy to be of service! I will persevere, and I’ll let you know what works and what doesn’t. Although it seems like I’ve seen enough pitfalls for now.
