Congratulations! You have been to to Ship Full O' Pirates over 100 times! Just thought you'd like to know.
I hadn’t cleaned out my bathroom cupboard since we stopped using products with blatantly harmful chemicals in them. So the frustration from the clutter caused by stuff I don’t even intend to ever use again in life was mounting.
Why oh why do I not see these things before they are a real thorn in my side?
Anyway, sittin’ here this a.m. chattin’ with Faith, she was telling me about all the remodel jobs happening at her house, and I thought to myself, hey self, do something. Clean something. Un-clutter something. Something. Really. It doesn’t matter what. Because it all needs some un-clutter action.
It didn’t take my pokey brain long to land on just the right project. My bathroom cupboard. You folks from foreign lands (ie. not Texas) might call it a cabinet.
I have what I consider to be a nice, roomy bathroom cupboard. When we moved in, 17 years ago, I put in some very nice, pink floral shelf paper, or maybe it’s called contact paper. I’m not hip about that kinda stuff. But it’s held up well and still looks very nice.
But the junk. The products that are no longer needed or wanted, or are just … um… empty. Yikes!
And suicidal Q-Tips everywhere. You know, jumpers. They leap, unsolicited, from the box when I am distracted by trying to hang onto the one I want and not drop it on the floor. What a waste. (sigh)
Anyroad, 3 shelves, merciless tossing, wiping of shelf (just the bottom one, I’d need a step ladder to get to the others and this is NOT that kind of a project!), organizing of tiny hair do-dad dresser, and TADA! Only 24 minutes passed between forming the thought and sitting back down with a self-satisfied ‘hmph!’ And photos! Yay!
Oh, and before you ask, no, we don’t store our yogurt in the bathroom cupboard. I’ve repurposed those containers for our wonderful homemade deodorant.

Great work! It looks fabulous
Ya inspired me! I was looking for something in my bathroom closet yesterday, and there was one lone bin of misc stuff i havent used in 100 years. So, it was the last unorganized thing in my bathroom. I chucked the whole thing, saved the bin of course….lol…woo hoo! Hey, I think they call this spring cleaning!
Looks great. I bet it feels so good! Isn’t it amazing how much we can accumulate? Thanks for joining my Work on it Wednesday. Pick up the Work on it Wednesday button to put on your site.
