Part of the plan…

If you’re new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed

Help for Growing Families is on hold for now.  I haven’t decided what I want to do with that, yet.

Homemade Thursday will continue, so run cook something, or crochet something, or plant something and take a picture, write a post, be ready this Thursday.

Weekend Fun Food is also on hold.  Partly because I don’t like the button I made (kicking self)(smiling sweetly at son who makes great looking buttons) and partly because I may need some input on that.  Does anyone care?  Do y’all read that?

So, there ya go.  While I will participate in your linkys I am just gonna have the Homemade Thursday linky, for now.

Meanwhile, do y’all Twitter?  Twitterring is so quick and easy.  They are little updates throughout the day.  Quick and easy to start up, participate and maintain.  Like blogging, only brief, easy, no photos and you are only allowed 140 characters per entry.  So, it’s like a lesson in being concise.

So, take the plunge.  Look in my right sidebar, see the birdie saying, “Follow me!”  Click him!  That takes you to the sign up.  You know I don’t enjoy complex, difficult things.  Twitter is easy.  Come on, it’s fun too!

And because twitter is bird language (?) here are some photos of our beloved birds.

This is my bird, Cesar.  He is the boss of all the birds.  (Pecking order, it’s a real thing!)

We really enjoy the Fun Food posts. They help me remember to have FUN and not be so serious all the time. Just my two cents.

Hi Keeley, I’m glad to be back. Thanks for your kind comments and all your input. A little encouragement goes a long way, and you are a great encourager!

My favourites were the Homemade Thursday and the Weekend Fun Food….but of those two, WFF comes out on top. =D

Homemade Thursday because it inspires me to get crackin’ on whatever needs to get crackin’ on. =)

Weekend Fun Food because I’m on the No-S diet and the weekend is my relaxation time. =) I can read your weekend fun food and think “HEY! I can make that…and eat it!” =) My children have *really* enjoyed your recipes. Especially the chocolate gravy which we pour on the cake-in-a-cup.

Oh, btw, if you want the cake-in-a-cup recipe for your weekend fun food (if you decide to continue that) please let me know. =)

Glad you’re back! I checked a couple of times to see if you were coming back and was surprised to see a whole new page today. We missed you.

I think that part of the problem with that was the set up. There are only so many ideas that aren’t minute details. I think the most needed thing is encouragement. And that needs a different, simpler format.

I liked the Help for Growing Families. I liked to read them and would post every now and then. Even though we have a large family, I didn’t feel I had too much input to share!!

  9. You can post food posts on a somewhat regular basis. Too many recurring features can rob you from your week.

  10. MotherHen says:

Keep checking back, it’s just gonna be a matter of getting the button fixed.

I read the Weekend Fun Food posts b/c those were some ideas that I might actually do.
