The Menu – March 23-29

I have a cold, again.  So, I appologize for my non-chatty demeanor.

Those are the suppers.

For lunches I’ll be making:

And since my “cold” has attacked my throat, here is my Sore Throat Cuppa recipe.  Place the following in a large mug and fill with boiling water.

  • 1 beef boullion cube (Herb Ox brand is fairly wholesome, no msg)
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed & peeled
  • 3 leaves fresh sage (omit if nursing, it’ll dry up your milk)
  • 1 or 2 shakes Cayenne Pepper

Let it sit for 10 minutes and then fish out the garlic and sage, give it a stir, enjoy.  Garlic and sage both have a reputation for helping sore throats.  And the flavor is so strong that I can taste it even though I have a cold.  Win-win!

Here’s your shorcut back to Menu Plan Monday.
