I have a cold, again. So, I appologize for my non-chatty demeanor.
- Monday – Beef & Barley Soup
- Tuesday – Soft Chicken Tacos
- Wednesday – Lentil Stew
- Thursday – Chicken & Rice
- Friday – Spaghetti Mac Bake
- Saturday – The Best Nachos
- Sunday – Enchilada Pie
Those are the suppers.
For lunches I’ll be making:
- Creamy Veggie Soup
- Homemade Mac & Cheese
- Burritos
- Anadama Bread for sandwiches
And since my “cold” has attacked my throat, here is my Sore Throat Cuppa recipe. Place the following in a large mug and fill with boiling water.
- 1 beef boullion cube (Herb Ox brand is fairly wholesome, no msg)
- 1 clove garlic, smashed & peeled
- 3 leaves fresh sage (omit if nursing, it’ll dry up your milk)
- 1 or 2 shakes Cayenne Pepper
Let it sit for 10 minutes and then fish out the garlic and sage, give it a stir, enjoy. Garlic and sage both have a reputation for helping sore throats. And the flavor is so strong that I can taste it even though I have a cold. Win-win!
Here’s your shorcut back to Menu Plan Monday.
