Up With the Sun

My hubby, just this past Sunday, declared,  ”Lights out in this bunk-house will be at 10 p.m.!  No exceptions!”

Now that we are Cowboys we are “up with the sun” kinda folks.  And if you are up with the sun that makes it lots easier the be all bedded down by 10 p.m.

I have to start getting to bed earlier. I’ve been getting to bed at 1am and wondering why I can’t get up at 5am, not real bright sometimes!

I would love to be in bed by 10 every night, but I always find all sorts of things to do once the kiddos are in bed and I have some time to myself. But, I am rarely awake at sunrise either, so it all works out!

Okay,
I’m away for a few days fighting flu and computer bugs and I come back to find cowboys instead of pirates? Actually I like the change. Like you said… you are all Texans! What are y’all gonna be next year?

At our homestead every one hits the sheets at 8:00pm (except me). The DH has to get up at 3am for work so when he goes to bed, so do the ranch hands. I then get to enjoy a couple quiet hours to myself.

Hi Mandy,
I like that furniture too, and no, it’s not mine. It’s in a dude ranch. I just snagged it for my post. Looks nice and sturdy.
