Did you ever make a cake that didn’t start out in a box?  If not, you are in for a treat.  Well, even if you have, this cake is delicious and oh so much more wholesome than anything out of a box.

No, I didn’t take that picture, but ain’t it pretty?  Go on over to Homemade and Wholesome for the recipe, and surprise your family with a yummy homemade pound cake.

Weekends should be fun for the family.  So lets round up some fun foods on Saturdays.

Either give the recipe or link to it in your post.  That’s not too much work for a weekend, is it?  And photos would be fun, but aren’t required.

As always, when you use a Mister Linky, give your permalink so folks can find the right post instead of getting to your blog and having to search around.  That would be discouraging.  Make it easy on your readers and use the permalink.

Be sure and grab one of the buttons The Cap’n and I have created for Weekend Fun Food.

Also, please include a link back here to Ship Full O’ Pirates in your post.  Thanks!

Mmmmm…. That looks yummy. Once it’s baked, it needs to be frozen. Because there’s just nothing quite so yummy as frozen poundcake!
