…and don’t ever forget…
See this little gizmo?
Can’t make bread unless it’s in it’s place.
And trust me when I tell ya, baked ingredients are WAY harder to get outta the pan than a loaf of bread. I haven’t made that big a mess since… I have never made that big a mess.

I have totally done this before!! A w f u l.

Oh no!!! Oh dear you poor thing.
Ack! Which reminds me, we’re out of bread! must make some more.
Ohhhh… I’ll bet that did make a massive mess! My sympathies. Very clever post.
did it more than once, I’ve had to get rid of the bread machine (insanely small kitchen/house) so that’s the only reason I won’t do it again I’m afraid!

Oh. Oh my. I did that once. Never did it again.
Too funny! I’ve done this too. Easy mistake, but it only takes once, twice, well maybe three or four times, to almost never forget to make sure Mr. Kneady is in place. I am pretty sure I made this mistake, but caught it after only a few ingredients went in, just last week! I am sure I am not done oopsing on this one yet.
My trick is to make sure when I close the lid on my machine that the pan and kneader are in place and the machine is totally ready to go for next time. The lid doesn’t close until it is ready. So I really try to do clean up fast and not linger in that area.
Thanks for making me think, I had to re-read the post twice to get it. I was reading far too fast, speed reading if you will, and did not read each word.
When I re-read the post, I read at a normal speed and looked at the photos and understood exactly what had happened. I make myself laugh! My Bad!!
Have a great day!!

OH, NO! Lol. One time my daughter did that, but I checked the bread dough for consistency and realized something was amiss. It was squishy work to get the paddle down through the goop, but if memory serves the bread turned out all right.
So been there, did that! Lucky for me it was just dough not actual bread that I was making at the time. Much easier to clean. I actually salvaged it by mixing and kneading by hand.
