April Fool’s Day

   Posted by: MotherHen   in Holidays

How many of you remember this song I linked to last year?

Or how ’bout this math practice site?  Seems even more cool now, I think they made some improvements.

I have just spent the better part of an hour looking at posts from around this time last year, yes, mine.  (I am my biggest fan.  Creepy, huh?)  Anyway, y’all need to call me on it when I post the same recipe twice.  I have a horrible memory, and a not very efficient method of categorizing my posts, and so you have read my recipe for lentil stew twice and you didn’t say anything, and you have read my recipe for apple nut cake (aka The Best Cake in the World) twice and you didn’t say anything.  These are both very good recipes for very delicious food, and you really should make that cake, but putting it on the blog one time may just be sufficient.  So, if I pull that nonsense again, pipe up.  Don’t let me get away with it!  Holler out!

Well, you see, the problem is, they sound like really delicious recipes, and we keep meaning to make them, so when you post them again, we are okay with that, because, sigh, we don’t remember, either.

LoisG said it best. I also have to say that when you get a newbie to your site, like me, we have no idea that you already posted it.

I think that ‘repetition in all things’ is biblical and for you to post a recipe more than once helps us learn!!! My kids want to know why they keep learning the same church stories over and over. Why do we hear the same lessons over and over? Because we learn something new each time.

So feel free to post your recipes everytime you think of doing it. It will help someone out here learn something new. You are a blessing and we welcome your insight. Thanks.

Sheesh, I can’t even remember what I had for breakfast! Seriously, I can hide my own easter eggs so you could post the same thing every day and I’d find it terribly interesting and amusing!
