Congratulations! You have been to to Ship Full O' Pirates over 100 times! Just thought you'd like to know.

Have you switched to sea salt yet?

Did you realise that Morton’s iodized salt has sugar as an ingredient?

I’m not trying to ruin your day, but, sugar is in everything.  Either sugar or HFCS.

We really have to be diligent about reading those labels.

Gotta wonder about these companies. My sea salt has just the one ingredient, sea salt.

Actually the chiropractor I see showed me the ingredients of the Morton Sea Salt and one of them was actually cyanide…cannot remember which ingredient it was but there’s only a few.

Well, what do ya think folks used to do to get adequate amounts of iodine? Yes, iodine is important, but it’s available in the foods we eat. I really am surprised that we can still buy sea salt that hasn’t had iodine added to it. I sure can’t get a drink of water without flouride in it.
Actually, back to the iodine, it looks to me like most of us might be more in danger of getting too much iodine than not enough. Apparently the cow’s milk I buy at the grocery has a pretty good chance of being contaminated with iodine. What on earth are they doing to those poor cows that this can happen. That’s it, I’m buying a dairy goat, no, two dairy goats, wait, maybe a whole herd.

So, how important is the iodine in the salt? If you omit the Morton’s and use sea salt 100% of the time, will you be iodine deficient?
