		<description>Well, scorpions are something we will be dealing with once we&#039;re out of town, we don&#039;t have any here.  Fire ants are opposed to water, so we water them.  If we have any real problems though, we use boiling water and that is a real discouragement.  It kills some of them, but, the most of the colony lives underground, and even though most of them are unharmed by the boiling water they seem to take the hint, usually only one treatment is required, sometimes two.  Of course we have to be careful of the plants and their roots when we are pouring boiling water around.</description>

		<description>Sorry that the garden has to go but you gotta do what you have to.  Question?  How did you keep red ants out of the garden?  I never gardened in my time in Texas.  Too hot and I didn&#039;t want to deal with red ants and scorpions.
