Congratulations! You have been to to Ship Full O' Pirates over 100 times! Just thought you'd like to know.
It’s time to do stuff! I have to get my head in the game! Time to make a schedule. Time to stop thinking about moving in some romantic, someday when our lease is up, kinda way.
I have 11 months to cull and organize our belongings.
Hubs and I have decided not to plant a Fall garden this year. We don’t need that extra time expenditure. We’ll be focusing our efforts on the move. And our Spring garden is almost played out. (The outrageous heat did it in before it’s time.) All of a sudden it’s time to start dismantling the gardens.
The composting is also suspended. We’re going from 4 compost bins to none. Not sure how to throw a banana peel in the trash, I’ll have to think every time.
All of my clutter, in the house, that I’ve grown so used to looking at and bearing the burden of the mental upkeep. You know, those thoughts of “Someday I’ll make a denim quilt outta all those bits of old jeans.” OR ”Someday I’m gonna make these old shirts into night gowns for Sally Mae.” And even ”Maybe this Winter we’ll make our tea in the old tea pot.” (Instead of the single cup method that we obviously prefer.) (Poor neglected old tea pot!)
See what I mean? I gotta get my head in the game!

I hear you on getting ready now rather then later. We are doing our military move 14 months but I am now starting the giveway and clean out mode which I will do until we move. Its amazing how much stuff we have and I do this every time we move every 3 years….I have my work cut out for me tho.
We just had a huge yard sale this weekend and made over $900. All of those someday projects really add up. I know we feel so much lighter now. You will feel a lot more free, too, I’m sure. Go for it!
