Hey Mother,
As my DH sits watching a fly tying video it occurred to me that rabbit fur is very popular in said hobby. I know nothing about skinning rabbits but I was thinking you could set up a second biz selling the fur to fly fishermen. Just a thought.

Texas winter.... hahahahahaha! I know I know, it actually does get cold here and there for a day or so at a time. It snowed for us one time when we lived in the DFW area. Enough for a few snowballs. I always hated having to have a winter coat and set of shoes on hand for only a few days of the year. (Especially when the kids would outgrow theirs.) Now, every year, we have to invest in real snow gear for everyone, but we do get good use out of it.

Your rabbit hutch looks very nicely made! I would add a sales page to your blog of things you and yours make that others in your area might want to purchase. Heck some people even might spend shipping on such things. Or you could sell the plans too. Enjoy your new rabbit venture!

Enjoy!

I like your shelters. You are lucky that it only gets kinda, sort cold in february. Where I am, I deal with frozen water bottles from December to Feburary and sometimes into March....winter is my least favorite rabbit season!
