My DH keeps reminding me that when we get any type of animal our days of being free to "jet off" anywhere will be limited. I can deal with out vacations but I will miss weekend camping trips. I'm going to have to compile a list of responsible friends that might come over and take care of animals for a couple days at a time. Hmmm... maybe I should start a chicken and rabbit sitting service. Unfortunately most chicken and meat rabbit owners aren't that foolish. Ahhh… the joys of responsibility!
