I’m so used to Hubs not getting holidays off or any extra time off … ever, that I was kinda sursprised when he casually mentioned having Monday off this morning before heading off to work.
He worked in retail for ever and ever and ya just learn to not expect time off. I wouldn’t know how to act if he ever got a vacation!
But I know my Hubs, we don’t really need a plan for the weekend.
Saturday will be consumed with errands and shopping.
Sunday doesn’t need a plan. Church service and fellowship meal.
Monday, ah, the gravy. Cleaning the garage and working in the yard.
ALL free time is automatically consumed with organizing and getting rid of junk in preparation for the move.
Don’t worry, we’ll grill out at least twice before his nose encounters the grind-stone again. We won’t work hard ALL day long. But I bet we get a lot done!
