Thanks, Melanie, yeah, I know what you mean. And I try to keep a happy heart during the week, but sometimes you just have to holler Oklahoma! Now I am a bit confused though. How could you be at all surprised to see “Ruprecht the monkey boy” here? I think he fits in nicely!
I am laffin’ so hard
never expected to see “Ruprecht the monkey boy” on your blog. That particular scene is so quotable… Just within the last month or so I was explaining to my kids why I occasionally burst out in “Oklahoma, Oklahoma, Oklahoma!”. I told them about that scene and also about him eating his applesauce with a fork w/ a cork on it (hence the eyepatch…lol). So funny. Thanks for sharing that clip.
I, too, feel like celebrating every time the weekend rolls around. No school! I’d like to figure out how to enjoy the whole week and not be mentally counting down til Friday.
