Yes, hubby and I saw the spelling bee. I agree - kids remember the wisecracks and jokes more than the real rules. I admit I often use a lot of wisecracks when I'm teaching because it breaks the tension, leaves 'em laughing, and... they remember! :-) Sigh of relief! Glad to be one of the commenting elite again! And if we could write all the spelling rules to be this funny my kids would know the rest of them and not just this one. Because this one?
