Have you signed up at SwagBucks yet? I know you’ve seen it around, but do you know what it is?
I’ve been using SwagBucks for any and all searches I do online.
My most recent search? ”How old is Mel Gibson?” Turns out he just had a birthday on the third. He’s 54. (I don’t know why? Hank wanted to know, so I searched.) Don’t ya just love the internet?
Anyway, SwagBucks. After you sign up you just set it as your default for searches and part of the time when you search a thing you will receive a reward! A SwagBuck! Or two or three or five!
The one and only way I have ever spent a SwagBuck is to save ‘em up until I have 45 of ‘em and then use them to buy a $5 Amazon gift card. I know it seems like an awful lot of SwagBucks for a $5 gift card, but the cool thing is you don’t have to do anything you weren’t gonna do anyway to earn the SwagBucks in the first place. Ya just search for stuff on the internet like you already do, ya just do it using the SwagBucks search bar.
And you can save up the gift cards until you have enough to cover the entire cost of whatever you are buying and the shipping too if ya wanna. Tex is currently saving for an iPod Touch. He’s got a ways to go, but he’s my most patient kid, so, he’ll make it! Could you deal with that? A cornpletely free iPod Touch! Me? I spend ‘em on books and movies. $5 here, $10 there. Saves me a bundle.
I have an idea. Instead of listening to me botch the explanation why don’t ya just click here and go to the SwagBucks homepage and let them tell ya all about it. It’s a much more diverse program than the way I use it, but I’m happily buying stuff on Amazon for free or really cheap every month because of the gift cards I’m getting from SwagBucks!
