Her Doll

Posted by: MotherHen   in Sweet Sally Mae, Yarn!

I started working on this doll over 4 years ago.  She’s called Peppermint Candy.   Sally Mae found the tote bag with the ¾ finished project in it and asked if I would finish it for her.  I can’t even remember why I had not finished it way back when.

Anyway, I got right on it (evenings only) and finished the whole project up in about a week.  Sally Mae is squealing with glee over this pretty, pretty doll!

And that’s what I’ve been up to for the past week, Cyndi.

She looks kinda bossy from this angle, huh?

Is her dress crocheted or knitted?
She reminds me of a doll my Grandmother crocheted me years ago.

Oh my! She is lovely! A doll fit for a princess, er a cowgirl!

Hi Becky, she’s crocheted. My knitting skills are extremely limited (read: warped things that are supposed to be squares).

What a beautiful doll! Well worth the time put into it. Just keeping tabs on you. My family is all sick with fevers, coughs and sore throats this week. Good times! Upside… no vomit! (Ahhh… the little things that make moms happy.)
