Oh my! I will be there in a couple of years getting our first goats. Hopefully you will be a pro by then and I can come to you for your expertise!
Thanks, Susan! Sadly, when I looked on Amazon.com it was currently unavailable. I should investigate other sources. The title sounds right up my street.
OK, Kimarie and Susan, I knew I had some goat-savvy readers. I read the book in the photo and man-alive, I’m thinkin’ it has to be simpler than that! Help!
Kimarie, should I buy that book you mentioned?
Susan, why are your goats crosses? There must be a good reason. And are you gonna sell those kids? Of eat ‘em yourself? Or raise ‘em for your herd? Will I ever get used to hearing/reading the phrase “eat those kids”???
We just love out milk goats, they are nubian/alpines. They’re dry right now, but we’ll breed them this fall and have babies again (and milk). Love them!
Yay! Jerry Belanger’s book Raising Dairy Goats is a good reference, too. Enjoy!
Will do. Thanks, Susan!
Oh that sounds like an adventure!
Yup! As I understand it, baby goats the cutest thing on four legs! >squeal< Can't wait!
Yah! Good for you! When you get those little goats we will need lots of pictures.
