Had a great time in the country at our friends house, our future/temporary house.
They were having a going away party. They invited everybody they know in Texas.
There were kids everywhere. Kids were playin’ basketball. Kids were playin’ volleyball. Kids were shootin’ archery. Kids were throwin’ knives. Kids were sword fightin’. Kids were throwin’ tomahawks. Kids were wrestlin’. Kids were trampolining. Kids were zip-lining. Kids were rope swingin’. Kids were everywhere.
There was a buffet in the house. There was a bonfire in the yard, with hot dog roasting and marshmallow torching.
There were so many folks there that they had to open up a pasture for over-flow parking.
We had a great time.
We’re gonna miss our friends mightily while they’re gone. Two years is a long time to miss someone.
